Vehicle Description
This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was acquired by the first owner in September 2011 and subsequently fitted with aftermarket bodywork by tuner Akira Nakai of RWB. The car has been refinished in gray over black upholstery and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional modifications include staggered-width 18? Rotiform modular wheels, upgraded suspension components, an FD Motorsports exhaust system, HID headlights, Recaro fixed-back bucket seats, an FD Motorsports shift rod and bushings, an FVD steering wheel, Rennline interior trim, and an RS-style shift knob, door panels, and carpets. Work performed in 2022 included performing rust repairs, installing a sunroof-delete panel, replacing the brake pads, and changing the oil. This RWB 993 is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, in-process modification photos, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
.
Finished from the factory in black, the car was reportedly repainted in Porsche Grey Black (7A1) following the current owner’s 2011 purchase. The body was modified by Akira Nakai of RWB in preparation for a 2011 SEMA exhibition and features aftermarket bumper covers, rocker extensions, canards, enlarged fender flares, and a GT2-style decklid and “banana” wing. Work performed in February 2022 by Automobile Associates of Canton, Connecticut, involved rust repairs on the windshield cowl, installation of a sunroof-delete panel, and replacement of the windshield, rear glass, and associated seals. Additional modifications include HID headlights, smoked front indicators, a Nakai-signed fuel filler door, and black-finished exhaust outlets. Paint chips are noted, and the front lid struts are non-functional.
.
Staggered-width 18? Rotiform modular wheels are finished in black and mounted with 265/35 front and 335/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires showing 2010 date codes. Braking is handled by cross-drilled and ventilated discs with black-finished calipers at all four corners. The brake pads were replaced in 2022, and the suspension is said to have been modified with the following components:
.
KW Variant 3 adjustable coilovers
GT2-based front uprights and tie rods
Rennline monoball front camber plates
Monoball front control arm bushings
Front strut tower brace
Solid rear subframe mounts
Rear toe links and control arms by ERP and Rennline
RWB-Modified 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 6-Speed
.
The interior has been fitted with Recaro Profi XL fixed-back bucket seats with body-color shells that are trimmed in black cloth and mounted with aluminum side mounts. The factory headliner, pillar trim, and rear seats have been removed, and appointments include an FD Motorsports Golden Rod and shifter bushings, a black felt headliner, a radio delete plate, and an RS-style shift knob, door panels, and carpets. A Rennline lower dash delete kit, front floor covering, and aluminum pedal covers have also been installed. A 340mm FVD airbag steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates just under 54k miles, approximately 7k of which have been added by the previous owner.
.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and has been fitted with an FD Motorsports Stage 3 exhaust system, a heater blower motor bypass pipe, and RS-style motor mounts. An oil change was performed in 2022.
.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside images are included in the gallery below.
